I remember amber from my childhood. When I was young, I have seen my mother, aunties and female work colleagues wearing amber necklaces, bracelets and earrings. What amazed me was that amber could have any other benefits than decorative. Anyway, I just remind myself, that a long time ago my lovely neighbour used to have amber in her collection. She was trying to explain to me, however, not quite clearly, what are the benefits of amber for infants and adults.
As a result, I started my own research. The amber has the active ingredient in, succinic acid, a resin, and the warmth from the skin releases it and absorbs it into the bloodstream. It was proved by recent scientific research that succinic acid has a very positive influence on the human body by helping to improve the balance of acids and immunity, when absorbed into the bloodstream.
As many people believe, wearing amber helps to neutralise stress and anger, helps to concentrate and make appropriate decisions, allows the body to heal and balance itself. Some mothers are using amber as a relief for the baby’s pain, when teething. In that case the baby will benefit most from a necklace worn near the neck area. Bracelets will still help with teething, but it will take longer for the succinic acid to travel the blood stream to reach the area in need. Bracelets and anklets are best for pain or discomfort in the wrist, hand or foot, ankle area.
Chinese medicine claims that the amber helps with aliments such as abdomen, bladder, blood, eyes, kidneys, stomach, tissue revitalization, throat, liver, and joint problems. 5000 years of Chinese medicine let Chinese people believe that the amber is a magic stone; for Buddhism believers – it is the stone of happiness. From the ancient times, amber has always been a symbol of status, more expensive than gold because of its healing benefits.
Today we can enjoy the growing market of amber jewellery. Young mothers, who have a passion of raising their children with the safest, most organic products possible and they are doing their best to avoid unnecessary medications. Nature-made amber remedies are available in leading Swiss, German and Austrian pharmacies.
Wearing amber may also protect us against the negative influences of electrical equipment like computers, televisions, mobile phones and microwave ovens. The other theory is based on scientific findings, which have shown that amber is electromagnetically alive and produces significant amounts of organic, purely natural energy, able to revitalise and rebuild the whole human immune system.
Consequently, I put the words fashionable amber into the Google search engine. What amazed me were the lovely, colourful and original pieces of art you can buy online and available in high street stores. With this kind of accessories you will present yourself as a unique person. Amber is fashionable again. Oh, I need to look for my old and forgotten amber necklace, where did I put it? This is the question. I really need to wear it now!
